We're not too bad looking for just finishing our run! Perfect November weather and good company.

For the 5th straight year we have been part of the MCM Adopt-A-Mile program picking up Gu packets and other trash left by the runners . It's a long day, but still fun and rewarding. This year we again had the Blue Mile in honor of fallen service members.

Looks like Stephen, Valerie, and Emily missed the neon green memo.
Fall is settling in quickly with some windy weather. This was Christina and Sandra's last weekend run before Marine Corp Marathon 2018!
Long time, no update... but we're still out running around Kingstowne and Southern Fairfax County. This was baby Theo's first run with the group!
The summer weather is starting to subside in Northern Virginia. The good temps must've brought out some of our long-time members!
We've got two types of people who run with us: early birds and night owls. It's rare that you'll see too many faces showing up at our weekday evening runs AND our weekend morning runs, but there are a few! And even though it doesn't look like we like each other very much in this pic, I SWEAR WE DO.
At any rate, we always try and make sure no one gets left behind, no matter the pace, so come join us sometime!
We had our summer picnic this past Saturday! It was a fun time filled with delicious food (yellow watermelon?!) and games like cornhole and washers. We are sad to see Derya move to South Korea for two years, but we are quite excited to welcome two baby Striders to our ranks later this summer!!!
Track season is in full swing and we are having a blast! Yesterday we did the Cooper Test, which is 12 minute "test" to establish a baseline and measure improvement., , ,
Saturday group runs from Grounded Coffee Shop are a favorite for our club! Huntley Meadows is beautiful to run through this time of year.
Springtime is bringing warmer weather and a lot more people are coming out during the week to run with us!

First run at Fountainhead Regional Park as a club!
Warmer weather means more people come out during the week! Saw some faces we hadn't seen in a while, but we would love to see some new people, too!
Great turnout and excellent run from Fair Winds Brewing Company co-host Ragnar Relay! ?
Torch run with Emily, Dave, Steve, Derya, Pascal, and Jonas! The last two didn't make it back in time for the picture, though.
Great Saturday morning group! Special welcome to Jonas and Stephanie, who were both on their first runs with the group today.
You all missed out on a really good 10K tonight! Thanks for showing me this route, Steve.
Tuesday Night Torch Run. 74deg, Excellent Turnout?
This was the best group run of 2018 so far! We were all trying to get our run in before the torrential downpour hit and it was a blast to have so many runners out there.
Winter running can be brutal, but when there is no wind or rain in the Potomac River Valley, you gotta get a run in.
The Tuesday night crew, minus Bob. (I am the WORST at taking a picture before the run. Bob, I'm gonna get you in a photo eventually!)
Carrie: First Run with these lovely people, thank you for making us feel so welcome!! See you next time
Happy Birthday Striders!
A good crowd for a cold run.,
Always a good Thursday run with these yayhoos? - Emily

A chilly running tour of several DC monuments.
We are still trying to figure out "Who was that masked man?", ,
Sweet 5 miles tonight with these three!
We gathered a Fiona's in Kingstowne for our celebration of the holidays, which took place in the New Year.
Steve and Amelia were honored with the Coach Jim Miller Award and the President’s/Founder's Award respectively., , , , , , ,
